Creativity: Galentines Cake

Hosting a Galentine's dinner at my house was such a fun and memorable experience, and baking a heart-shaped cake with my friends was definitely a highlight of the evening.

We spent hours in the kitchen together, measuring ingredients, mixing batter, and decorating the cake with pink frosting and heart-shaped sprinkles.  As we worked together, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and camaraderie. There's something about baking with friends that's so special and bonding, and it was heartwarming to see everyone come together and contribute to the process.  When the cake was finally finished, we placed it in the center of the table and admired our handiwork. It wasn't perfect by any means, but it was made with love and care, and that's what made it so special.  As we enjoyed our meal together, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the friends in my life. They are the ones who make life meaningful and fun, and it was an honor to celebrate Galentine's Day with them. We also did a photoshoot with the cake after and had lots of fun in the process!

Activity: Nature Hikes

Hiking in Palm Springs on Mount San Jacinto and taking the Palm Desert tram was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to connect with nature and explore the beauty of Southern California.

The tram ride itself was a thrilling adventure, as we ascended over 8,000 feet into the sky, marveling at the stunning views of the desert landscape below. Once we arrived at the top, we were greeted with breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and we set out on our hike with a sense of excitement and wonder. The trail itself was challenging but rewarding, as we climbed steep inclines and rocky terrain, surrounded by the peaceful quiet of the wilderness.  As we hiked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and reverence for the natural world. The beauty and majesty of the mountains and valleys around us were humbling, and it was a reminder of how small we are in the grand scheme of things.  When we finally reached the summit, the view was absolutely breathtaking. We could see for miles in every direction, and it was a feeling of accomplishment and triumph to have made it to the top.  Hiking in Palm Springs on Mount San Jacinto and taking the Palm Desert tram was an experience that will stay with me forever. It was a reminder of the power and beauty of nature, and of the importance of taking time to connect with the world around us. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to explore this incredible part of the world and to have shared the experience with such wonderful people.

Service: Beach Cleanup

Participating in a beach cleanup on Bang Saen beach with the LOL club from my school was a truly eye-opening experience. As we arrived at the beach, I was shocked to see the amount of trash and debris that had accumulated on the sand and in the water.

It was a stark reminder of the impact that human activity can have on our natural environment.  But as we started the clean up, I couldn't help but feel a sense of purpose and motivation. Working together with my fellow club members, we combed the beach for any trash and debris, carefully picking up cigarette butts, bottle caps, plastic bottles, and other items that had been left behind.  As we worked, we were greeted by curious onlookers and beachgoers who were impressed by our dedication and commitment to the environment. It was a reminder of the importance of spreading awareness about environmental issues and of taking action to make a difference.  By the time we finished, the beach was transformed. It was clean and pristine, and the difference was truly remarkable. As we gathered together for a group photo, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. We had made a tangible difference in the world, no matter how small, and that was a truly rewarding feeling.  Participating in a beach cleanup on Bang Saen beach with the LOL club from my school was a reminder of the importance of taking action to protect our environment. It was a reminder of the power of collective action and of the impact that we can have when we work together towards a common goal. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of this important initiative and to have shared the experience with such wonderful people.
